Returns

All sales are final. Because every frame is a one-of-a-kind vintage piece, we don't accept returns or exchanges.

Before you buy

We want you to be sure. Each listing includes the frame's measurements, era, origin and an honest condition grade. If you'd like more photos or have a question about fit, email sales@diegofresco.com before ordering. We're happy to help.

Not as described

If your frame arrives significantly different from its listing, such as an undisclosed defect or a different model, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We'll review it and make it right with a refund or another solution.

Reading a frame size

Sizes are listed as lens width – bridge – temple length in millimeters (for example, 56-16-140). Compare these numbers to a pair you already own for the best fit.

Prescription lenses

Most of our frames can be fitted with prescription lenses by your optician. We recommend confirming with them before purchase, since some vintage frames need special care.

Authenticity

Every frame we sell is authentic and personally inspected before it's listed.

How we inspect

  1. Markings: We check brand logos, model numbers, sizes and country-of-manufacture stamps against known originals.

  2. Construction: We examine hinges, screws, nose pads and temple cores for period-correct parts.

  3. Materials: We confirm metals, plating (such as 20K gold or platinum finishes) and acetate match the original specification.

  4. Condition: We grade each frame on a 10-point scale and note any wear, adjustment or flaw in the listing.

Condition grades

10 = New old stock. Never worn, no visible wear.

9–9.5 = Like new. Minimal signs of storage or handling.

8–8.5 = Excellent. Light wear visible on close inspection.

7 and below = Good. Visible wear, described in the listing.

New old stock

New old stock (NOS) means the frame was manufactured during its original era but never sold or worn. Many NOS frames still have their demo lenses and original stickers.
